1/19/2024 0 Comments Diablo immortal acquiring hate![]() My other issue with the game is not directly related to MTX, but has to do with daily/weekly content : I really dislike having timegating in games, and the idea of doing content I dont want to do in order to gear myself (the awful bounties during leveling are what come to mind, but at 60 the issue only worsens with more daily content including PVP) is also in opposition of what H&S have been trying to do. Putting systems in systems (legendary gems -> awakening -> resonance) where money has an impact on droprates and improving your character is actively discouraging me to play the game. If MTX have a say in my ability to gear myself and increase my stats, however small the increase is, it is IMO in opposition to what the philosophy of H&S is. Endgame is where you will spend 90+% of your playtime if you get into the game. H&S games are built around gearing your character, and increasing your stats. ![]() I love watching videos of endgame builds, being super impressed by what I'm seeing, and knowing that I can get there myself if I just play the game (and that it's attainable in a reasonable timeframe). I know, when I play PoE, that someone who managed to get his full build had exactly the same opportunities as I did, and money had no impact on it. It has no impact on your gearing abilities, which is the core of the game. These are one time only purchases, available on all your characters, and for all the leagues. In PoE, I'll admit, some of the stash tabs are basically mandatory if you want to have a comfortable playing experience, but it's (iirc, correct me if I'm wrong) around 60 to 70$ (so basically the equivalent of a full price game) to get one of each special stash tab + a bundle of premium tabs. I don't really understand the PoE comparisons :
